Lakes and Pines Community Action Council, Inc. helps families with children, single adults and youth experiencing homelessness in east central Minnesota by providing emergency sheltering throughout its seven-county service area which includes: Aitkin, Carlton, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs and Pine.
Short-term motel/hotel stays are provided for those experiencing homelessness that have no other resources available to help them, along with case management services to reduce the length of time that households are homeless and to help them attain permanent housing.
